Title: Earth Observation for Sustainable development initiative & Climate Resilience Project (EO4SD CR)
Scope: The scope of this Webinar was to present to IFAD indicative examples of how Earth Observation data and services can assist and contribute to decision-making processes in the area of climate change adaptation. The examples covered the assessment and monitoring of three climatic hazards: a) Drought, b) Wildfires, and c) Floods.
The Webinar furnished participants with (1) Essential Climate Variables where Earth Observation can significantly contribute to facilitating the Fund’s resilience-building actions, and (2) an indicative list of potential EO-based services that the EO4SD CR Cluster can provide.
